Best known for the novelty tune “I Love College,” a track in which he boasts that he wants to go to college for the rest of his life, rapper Asher Roth returned earlier this year with his second album Retrohash, an album that features guests ZZ Ward, Curren$y and Vic Mensa. "I made music that I would want to hear, music that felt good to me,” Asher says in the press release accompanying the album’s release. “We didn't play by any rules and that makes me proud. There shouldn't be any rules in making music. RetroHash is a genuine expression of the artist and person I am." The album commences with the lazy melody of “Tangerine Girl” and includes funky numbers such as “Parties at the Disco” and “Fast Life,” tracks with booming bass beats and tongue-twisting vocals.
