In both The Better Angels of Our Nature and his bestseller Enlightenment Now, author Steven Pinker maintains there has never been a better time to be a human being. Today at 5:30 p.m. at the Cleveland Museum of Art, Pinker joins, Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards jurors, friends and Harvard University professor and scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr. to discuss the issue.
