Anime Delight

A group of high school students try to save a mansion from demolition in Goro Miyazaki's animated feature, From Up on Poppy Hill. Set in Yokohama, Japan, before the start of the 1964 Summer Olympics, the nostalgic film was originally released in Japanese before a dubbed version became available. The Cleveland Museum of Art will show the original subtitled version. Miyazaki's father, anime auteur Hayao Miyazaki, co-wrote the script and the famous Studio Ghibli produced it. (Jeff Niesel)
