You can judge rapper Andy Mineo’s popularity by the fact that "You Can't Stop Me," the rambunctious single off last year’s Never Land, which sold over 90,000 units and logged more than one million page views on YouTube, recently won "MLB's top walk up song" for ESPN's inaugural Whammy Awards. It beat out Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" and Big Sean's "Blessings." Produced by !llmind (J.Cole, Drake, 50 Cent), Mineo’s new album, Uncomfortable, debuted last month to critical acclaim. Mineo explores his sensitive side with a song like "Hear My Heart," a soulful tribute to his deaf sister. Mineo even created a sign-language video to announce the tune. (Niesel)
