Master conservator and heritage restoration expert Anupam Sah will discuss India's paints and paintings in a lecture entitled "An Indian Polychromy Story: Traditional Painting Materials and Their Conservation." Sah will talk about early evidence found in ancient texts, murals, and polychromed sculptures and then lecture about the collection of Indian paintings at the Cleveland Museum of Art. The talk takes place at 3 p.m. at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Admission is free. (Niesel)
