An Evening with Rachael Denhollander, Author of What Is a Girl Worth?
When: Mon., March 9, 7-8 p.m. 2020
Rachael Denhollander was the first athlete to publicly accuse Larry Nassar, the former USA Gymnastics team doctor who sexually abused hundreds of young athletes. Denhollander, an attorney, advocate, educator and author, will tell the inspiring truth story of her journey from an idealistic young gymnast to a strong and determined woman who found the courage to raise her voice against evil, even when she thought the world might not listen. This program is sponsored by the Hudson Library’s Libby Walker Women’s Studies Lecture Series.
