Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater

This weekend at the State Theatre, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater will present two programs featuring contemporary works by Aszure Barton and Jawole Willa Jo Zollar and classics by Alvin Ailey, including Cry (celebrating its 50th anniversary), Blues Suite, Pas de Duke, and the beloved Revelations, a "universal anthem of resilience," as it's put in a press release.
