A Gallery Talk

In conjunction with the Cleveland Museum of Art’s current exhibition, Albert Oehlen’s Woods Near Oehle, artist and writer Jordan Kantor leads a gallery talk at 2 p.m. today. The exhibition is the largest and most extensive collection of Oehlen’s work, dating back more than 30 years. The exhibition also features the artist’s most recent work, including a new multimedia installation that will debut in Cleveland. Through this gallery tour, Kantor will discuss Oehlen’s work and lasting impact on contemporary art. Kantor studied in Germany before earning his BA in History and Studio Art from Stanford University and a PhD in History of Art and Architecture from Harvard University. This presentation is free, and no registration is required. Guests are asked to meet outside the exhibition in the KeyBank Lobby. (Usmani)
