Part of the Czech New Wave movement, Vera Chytilova's Daisies follows two irreverent women as they get in food fights and poke fun of modern consumer society. It's preceded by a screening of Jan Švankmajer’s 16-minute animated short Food. The program starts at 1:30 p.m. at the Cleveland Museum of Art. It's part of the Museum's holiday film festival, the Persistence of Surrealism. Tickets are $9. (Niesel)
