A Coming-of-Age Story

Perhaps most well-known for his 2015 horror film It Follows, director David Robert Mitchell’s debut film, The Myth of the American Sleepover, is about summer love and the uncertainty of growing up. It’s a coming-of-age story about a group of suburban teenagers on their last night of summer vacation before returning to student life and responsibility. It screens tonight at 7 at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Tickets are $9. (Hetrick)
