A Brave New Face

Join us for an inspiring lecture and conversation with Teeba Furat Marlowe. In 2003, 19-month-old Teeba was riding in a taxi in Baghdad with her family when it struck an IED. Through University Hospital’s Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Teeba has undergone 19 surgeries to replace her scarred skin. Today, Teeba is 15 years old, a U.S. citizen, and a freshman in high school at Notre Dame Cathedral Latin.
