2nd Annual Ken Janssen ALS Benefit & Record Release with New Planet Trampoline/Charles Hill Jr./Exploding Lies/Hiram Rapids Stumblers/All Dinosaurs/Relaxer/Black Puddle Noise/The Beyonders

Last year, local musicians Ken Janssen was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease. At that time, he staged a fundraiser and benefit concert to help with his medical expenses. It was a big success. This year, he's raising funds for an "experimental stem cell procedure" that is designed to help counter the disease. He's recruited some of the city's finest indie rock bands to play. (Niesel)
