Your White Light, Installation by Sonja Thomsen

How do we locate ourselves in the world around us? Sonja Thomsen, further explores this question with the site-specific installation, "Your White Light," an iteration of Thomsen’s on-going project, "Glowing Wavelengths In-Between." On view through March 28, Thomsen utilizes the architecture of this gallery to reframe and augment our ways of seeing. Reflective elements heighten the interactivity among the works displayed, and new spaces for discovery are created. Reflections and refractions appear throughout her work to suggest the chasm and the links between the known and the unknowable—the tangible and the intangible.
