Yesterday's Red Cross Worker

Eileen Giunta, a WWII Red Cross Reenactor and daughter of a volunteer Red Cross nurses aide, will present a talk on the American Red Cross Volunteer Services during WWII. She will give a brief history of the beginnings of the Red Cross and explain each volunteer service and its contribution to the war effort. On display will be vintage items related to the Red Cross.
