X-Men: First Class

Set in the early '60s during the Cuban Missile Crisis, 2011's X-Men: First Class centers on the relationship between Professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto (Michael Fassbender), showing how the two became involved in a dispute that led to a battle between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor Xavier's X-Men. Part of the Reel Science Series, tonight's screening of the movie at the Capitol kicks off with an introduction and discussion with Dr. Nicole Burt, the curator of Human Health and Evolutionary Medicine at the Cleveland Natural History Museum. The program starts at 7, and tickets cost $6. (Niesel)
