In yet another way that Cleveland Public Theatre helps local artists connect with audiences, the first Tuesday of every month marks the Dark Room, which offers local writers a chance to have their scripts read and receive feedback from other writers and actors. So if you’re an actor looking to read a new work or a writer looking for notes on your newest one-act play about a robot farm set in a dystopian future where carrots have reigned supreme, come on down to the Church on the Cleveland Public Theatre campus. Sign-ups start tonight at 7:15 and the readings begin at 7:30. There’s a suggested donation of $5 and free Magic Hat beer will be served. (Stoops)
