World-Class Wines

Plenty of wineries will be on hand for this year's Vintage Ohio Wine Festival that takes place at the Lake Metroparks Farmpark in Kirtland. An annual event that showcases local wineries, the Vintage Ohio Festival provides a good opportunity to sample locally made Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Riesling. Admission is $30 in advance and $35 at the gate and that includes 25 samples. Local bands will perform on three different stages and Friday night's event will conclude with fireworks. (Jeff Niesel)
