WordStage presents Winter Words

Recitations of the celebrations and complaints of what Shakespeare called "The Rude Season" in poems, legends and folktales accompanied by violin and piano. Winter Words will include selections from Robert Frost, Thomas Hardy, Emily Dickinson, Mary Oliver, Robert Louis Stevenson, Walt Whitman and many more. Folk tales from the Inuit, Native American, Norwegian and Middle European traditions will also be woven throughout.
