West Shore Film Series to host film "Dark Waters”

Inspired by a shocking true story, tenacious attorney Robert Bilott (Mark Ruffalo) uncovers a dark secret that connects a growing number of unexplained deaths to one of the world's largest corporations. In the process, he risks everything—his future, his family, and his own life—to expose the truth. The film is based on the 2016 New York Times Magazine article "The Lawyer Who Became DuPont's Worst Nightmare" by Nathaniel Rich. Tish O'Dell, representing the Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund and the Ohio Community Rights Network, will be on hand to comment on the film and answer questions.
