Wardrobes & Rings

The year is 1963 and two giants of British literature, CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien -now in the autumn of their lives -come together for what turns out to be the very last time. They meet at one of their favorite haunts -Eagle and Child pub. While this encounter reveals some of the underlying issues that drove them apart in the latter years, it also reveals that, in coming together, those issues soon melt away. As they reminisce about their many years of friendship, it is quite apparent that the deep affection both had for each other still remains.
