VIRTUAL: An Evening with Jeff VanderMeer, Author of Hummingbird Salamander

The Hudson Library & Historical Society will host a live virtual streaming event with Jeff VanderMeer, author of the novel Hummingbird Salamander. A brilliant speculative thriller of dark conspiracy, endangered species and the possible end of all things, Hummingbird Salamander was dubbed by Helen Phillips of The New York Times as “climate fiction at its most urgent and gripping.” VanderMeer is the author of Annihilation, which won the Nebula Award and the Shirley Jackson Award and was adapted into a movie by Alex Garland starring Natalie Portman.
