Underground Railroad Experience

Take an inspiring trip back in time to the year 1821, as you travel in this walking drama with historic characters who welcome you as a freedom seeker. Learn about escaping the realities of slavery and Spring Hill Farm’s role in the Underground Railroad. Interactive walking performances at 10am, 11:15am, 2pm and 3:15pm. Accessible porch performance at 12:45pm. Tours of the 1821 historic farmhouse and resource tables included with your ticket. NEW this year will be two programs at 11am and 1pm on Sojourner Truth, escaped slave turned abolitionist, portrayed by Robin Echols Cooper of Women In History Ohio.
