Turbo Kid

Like Mad Max with BMX bicycles, Turbo Kid offers a decidedly dystopic look at the future. The movie centers on two young teens who have a run-in with the overlord of the Wasteland where they live. While the film's costumes and special effects won't rival those of Mad Max, the the movie has gotten positive reviews since premiering at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. It screens tonight at 7:30 at the Capitol Theatre. Tickets are $9.50. (Niesel)
