Turangalîla-Symphonie

Tonight at 7:30 at Severance Hall, the Cleveland Orchestra takes on Messiaen's Turangalîla-Symphonie, an orchestral piece that includes a difficult piano part with several solo cadenzas. An hour before the concert, guest speaker Caroline Oltmanns, the head of the piano department at Youngstown State University, gives the pre-concert talk, "Love Lost in the Stars."
