Troublemaker, Malcontent, Desperado: A Celebration of the Life and Legacy of Harlan Ellison

The Ohio Center for the Book in collaboration with Cleveland State University and Celebrating Cleveland's Past Masters honor the life and legacy of Cleveland’s own Harlan Ellison - speculative fiction author, screenwriter, social critic, and self-described "troublemaker, malcontent, desperado" - to commemorate the 15th anniversary of Ellison's last public appearance in his hometown. Presenters will include author and scholar Mark Dawidziak; CSU faculty members Dr. Jeff Karem and Dr. James Marino; and Ellison’s niece, Lisa Rubin, sharing memories of her uncle. Q&A session to follow presentations. Free. No registration required.
