Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue

A childhood prodigy, Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews debuted with Bo Diddley at 4, led his own brass band at 6 and toured with Lenny Kravitz at 13. His encyclopedic knowledge of the New Orleans brass band tradition allows him to play it straight or incorporate it with funk, jazz, hip-hop, soul and blues.
