Formed in 1990 by Ravenna native Maynard James Keenan, TOOL became one of the biggest bands of the 1990s. The group released four multi-platinum studio albums and won three Grammys before curtailing touring and recording. Just recently, however, the band released its long-awaited fifth studio album, Fear Inoculum, and launched a national tour in support of the disc. The album represents the prog/metal band's most nuanced work to date as intricate percussion drives tunes such as the title track and "Pneuma." (Jeff Niesel)
