Tom’s Tailgate- fundraising event for CSU
The Tom Smolinski Diving Endowment was created in 2015 after the passing of Tom Smolinski. This endowment provides scholarships for men and women of the Cleveland State Diving Team, where Tom was an athlete from 1997 to 1999. His family and friends wanted to create a way to honor his memory and provide opportunities for others like he had. Tom was from
Buffalo and an avid sports fan. He loved his Buffalo Bills and grew to love Cleveland , so what better way to celebrate him and help his scholarship grow than a tailgate!
