Toledo Museum of Art Block Party

Celebrate art, community and 50 years of hip-hop during the Toledo Museum of Art’s Block Party. Grammy Award-winning artist DJ Spinderella will headline the event featuring performances, art-making activities, glassblowing demonstrations, in-gallery experiences, food trucks, horseback riding with Freedom Riders, face painting by the Toledo School for the Arts and more. Professional artists will create unique artwork from 4-6 p.m. Visit the Glass Pavilion Hot Shop from 4:30-6:30 p.m. to see artist Leo Tecosky create works exploring hip-hop and see Jeff Koons’ “Balloon Monkey (Magenta)” in Libbey Court. A sensory-friendly area will be open in the Glass Pavilion courtyard.
