The Write Stuff

The Cleveland Comedy Fest shows off more local talent tonight with Cleveland Writes! An Evening with Comedy TV Writers from Northeast Ohio. The 8 p.m. event, which takes place at the Hanna Theatre, features an unscripted panel discussion with Steve Skrovan (Everybody Loves Raymond, Hot in Cleveland), Marc Jaffe (Seinfeld, Mad About You) and Lisa DeBenedictis (Mad About You, Dream On), who will talk about their respective careers. Plain Dealer columnist and jokester Mike McIntyre will moderate. Tickets are $22 in advance and $25 day of show. Ten percent of the proceeds go to support Shaking With Laughter, a non-profit organization founded by Marc Jaffe to fight Parkinson’s disease. (Niesel)
