The Science of Ripley's Believe It or Not

Oftentimes, science can explain some of the world's strangest phenomena. That's the premise behind "The Science of Ripley's Believe It or Not," a new exhibit that opens today at the Great Lakes Science Center. Artifacts slated to be on display include a life-sized replica of the largest snake that ever lived and a replica of a cooling suit that scientists used to study underground cave crystals. The exhibit will be on display through April 24. Regular admission rates apply. (Niesel)
