The Qatsi Trilogy

To celebrate composer Philip Glass’ 80th birthday, the Cleveland Museum of Art and Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque have teamed up to present The Qatsi Trilogy, a showing of three films for which Glass composed the soundtracks. The two institutions will screen filmmaker Godfrey Reggio's Koyaanisqatsi, Powaqqatsi and Naqoyqatsi. Koyaanisqatsi shows tonight at 7:30 and tomorrow at 11 a.m. at the Cinematheque. Powaqqatsi screens at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow and Sunday at the Museum of Art, and Naqoyqatsi screens at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow and Sunday at the museum as well. Tickets to each film are $12, $9 for CMA and Cinematheque members, seniors 65 and over and students. A trilogy package costs $30, $21 for CMA and Cinematheque members. (Niesel)
