The Ohio City Singers

Adding to their repertoire of original Christmas music, Ohio City Singers, an ensemble featuring some of Cleveland’s best musicians, just released two new tunes. The zydeco-tinged “What’s the Name of Santa’s Sleigh?” and the rowdy guitar- and accordion-driven “Hey! Hey! Hey! (It’s a Holiday)” are now available on CD Baby, iTunes and all digital outlets. In addition to band leader Chris Allen, the all-star band features Doug McKean (the Boys From the County Hell), Brent Kirby (the Jack Fords, the New Soft Shoe), Austin “Walkin’ Cane” Charanghat, Don Dixon, Kelly Wright (the Anne E. DeChant Band), Matt Sobol (the Waynes), Nick Stipanovich (the Boys From the County Hell) and Dave Padrutt (Falling Stars). The new tracks should fit nicely into tonight's set. (Niesel)
