The Gift that Keeps on Giving

Cleveland’s classic Christmas movie was adapted into a Broadway musical in 2012, and a local performance of the musical 's set to premiere at the Near West Theatre performance space in Ohio City tonight at 7:30. A Christmas Story, The Musical arrives in Cleveland just in time for the 30th anniversary of the film that inspired it. The cast is composed of 35 local children, teenagers and adults. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under; or support the theater and get special benefits with a $20 Star Seat. Performances continue through Dec. 8. (Ceciley Rus)
