The Fifth Dimension

An audience favorite, Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony is famous for its passionate tone. The second movement has even crossed over into popular culture and inspired the songs “Moon Love” and “Annie’s Song.” Tonight at 7:30, Finnish conductor Hannu Lintu leads the Cleveland Orchestra in a performance of the piece. It will be paired with Sibelius’ “Pohjola’s Daughter” and Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 2. Tickets start at $29; additional performances take place at 11 a.m. tomorrow (minus the violin concerto) and at 8 p.m. on Saturday. (Jeff Niesel)
