The Cut

An Armenian man becomes separated from his wife and daughters in The Cut, a period piece set in the Ottoman War just as World War I begins. When the man hears that his daughters are still alive, he sets out to find them, traveling to Cuba and America in search of them. The film screens today at 3:30 p.m. at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque. Tickets are $9. (Niesel)
