The Coast is Toast

Thanks to some mismanagement courtesy of BP, the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil rig explosion created one of the worst spills in history. In her new documentary feature, The Great Invisible, director Margaret Brown revisits the debacle and interviews rig survivors, BP execs and Gulf Coast residents as she analyzes the lingering aftereffects. The film screens tonight at 6:45 and on Friday at 9:55 p.m. at the Cleveland Institute of Art’s Cinematheque. Tickets are $9. (Niesel)
