Variety magazine declares that The Chambermaid, Lila Aviles' film about a maid who works in a Mexico City hotel, is "rare and special." The movie features various vignettes which help to tell the story a woman who shuffles through waste bins to see how the other half lives. It screens at 8:40 tonight and at 4 p.m. tomorrow at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque. Tickets cost $10, or $7 for Cinematheque members and students. (Niesel)
