Having grown up fascinated and repelled by the Mormon religion and Broadway musicals, satirists Trey Parker and Matt Stone found a way of coping by producing the mega-hit The Book of Mormon. For Mormon, they teamed up with Avenue Q co-composer and co-lyricist Robert Lopez to create their comic take on the Church of Latter Day Saints. A massive hit on Broadway, the play returns to Playhouse Square this month. Tonight's performance takes place at 7:30 at Connor Palace. Tickets start at $30. (Niesel)
