The Bird with the Crystal Plumage

After an American writer in Rome (Tony Musante) witnesses an attempted murder in an art gallery, he and his girlfriend (Suzy Kendall) are added to the hit list. That's the premise of The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, the directorial debut from Dario Argento. Tonight at 6:45 and tomorrow night at 9:30, the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque screens a digital restoration of the film. Tickets are $10, or $7 for members and students. (Niesel)
