Summers@Severance: Songs of a Wayfarer
Franz Welser-Möst conducts the Cleveland Orchestra tonight at Severance Hall as it takes on Mahler's Songs of a Wayfayer, a song cycle inspired by the composer's own tale of moving from town to town as he worked as an apprentice. The program also includes Beethoven's String Quartet No. 15, which a string orchestra will perform. The concert begins at 7 and is followed by an after-party on Severance's beautiful terrace.
