Summer Day Camp, Draw, Paint, Explore, Create, with Shannon Casey at Peninsula Art Academy

Explore drawing and painting from life in this creative sampler for youth, ages 10 and older. Emphasis will be on simplifying shapes and using value, volume and proportion to create a basic framework for a drawing or painting. Students will work from still life arrangements (with favorite objects provided by students), a live model and their own images. A variety of materials will be used including pencil, charcoal, pastel and paint. There's no better way to hone your skills and train your eye than to draw from life!
