SUBTLE FRAGRANCE: A Concert of Classical Chinese Music and Poetry

Celebrate the Year of the Snake with a performance of traditional Chinese music, poetry, and martial arts by the Cleveland Chinese Music Ensemble. The program, entitled "Subtle Fragrance: A Concert of Classical Chinese Music and Poetry," will feature festive pieces in honor of the Chinese New Year, as well as evocative solo and ensemble pieces, played on traditional wind, string, and percussion instruments. The ensemble will be joined for several selections by vocalist Min Li and martial arts expert Shifu Gary Harris.
