Sparks Fly

Comedian Hal Sparks can’t find a girl because he’s always getting himself into awkward situations. The more he likes a girl, the more he turns into an animatronic bear, spouting inane one-line phrases during his dates. His awkwardness doesn’t end there: He once spent six hours on the phone with Ikea because he got himself trapped in a Klorn entertainment center while trying to assemble it. While the guy’s squeaky-clean image might be a turn-off to some, his self-deprecating humor is pretty hilarious. He appears tonight at 8 at Hilarities; shows are scheduled through Sunday.
