Socks in the Frying Pan (in the Supper Club)

Formed in 2009, the Irish group Socks in the Frying Pan has become an international sensation. The group pairs traditional melodies with three-part vocal harmonies. On last year’s The Return of the Giant Sock Monsters from Outer Space, they play a little bit of everything, throwing polka and bluegrass into the mix. This tour is part of Culture Ireland’s Centenary Programme, which commemorates the centenary of the 1916 Easter Rising. (Niesel)
