Sibelius’s First Symphony
Susanna Mälkki conducts the Cleveland Orchestra tonight at Severance Hall as it takes on Sibelius's First Symphony as well as Knussen's Violin Concerto. The concert begins at 7:30, and the program repeats at 8 p.m. on Saturday. Case Western Reserve University's Eric Charnofsky delivers the pre-concert lecture an hour before the concert.
