Mandel JCC of Cleveland presents the eighth annual Shining Star CLE, the premier solo-singing competition of Northeast Ohio. The Finals is a professionally produced performance featuring the most talented local high school singers in an “American Idol” style competition. Watch in amazement as the Top 10 Finalists and 2 alternates take center stage at Playhouse Square to compete for a total of $18,500 in college scholarships. A celebrity panel of judges choose the top four winners, and then the audience joins the judges in voting for the scholarship winners.
