A three-time Oscar nominee who lives in the Dayton area, Julia Reichert is Ohio's foremost non-fiction filmmaker. Julia Reichert: 50 Years in Film, a traveling retrospective that has come to the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque, features screenings of restored versions of her films. Today at 4 p.m., the Cinematheque will screen Seeing Red: Stories of American Communists, her 1983 documentary about Americans who joined the Communist Party.
