It’s that time of the year when classic old horror flicks are rearing their ugly faces once again. The latest to do so is Halloween, John Carpenter’s 1978 horror film set a small Illinois town. To honor its 35th anniversary, the Capitol Theatre will screen a new HD transfer of the film that features Michael Myers as an insane asylum escapee who goes on a killing spree. The film screens tonight at 7:30. Tickets are $9. (Niesel)
