The Center for Applied Theatre and Active Culture (CATAC) is pleased to present “Ruth,” a solo performance conceived, written, and performed by area actor April Anderson. April Anderson takes the audience on an entertaining journey into the Bible’s Book of Ruth. Using a variety of musical styles and storytelling techniques, the actor subtly explores Ruth’s relationship with her mother-in-law Naomi and the themes of love, loyalty, and redemption. A perfect family offering for the spring holiday season, Ruth tells a story that resonates strongly today. Costumes are designed by Inda Blatch-Geib.
